# Erinome, Moon of Jupiter

Erinome is a Moon that orbits round the planet Jupiter. It is also know by other designations, JXXV, S/2000 J4. Its mass is estimated/calculated at being 44,960,052,992,916 kg. Its density has been calculated at being 2.6. Its volume is 17.

Erinome was discovered on 23 November 2000 by Scott S. Sheppard, David C. Jewitt, Yanga R. Fernandez, and Eugene Magnier.

The orbital period, i.e. the period it takes to complete an orbit round Jupiter is 728.3 days. The figure is also known as the sidereel period. The figure comes from N.A.S.A..

The Equatorial Radius of the object is 2km. The Equatorial Radius is based on the assumption of the Albedo value. The value is the radius in km of the said object at the Equator.

The albedo of the object is 0.04. The Albedo is the amount of radiation that is reflected back into space by the object.

The Escape Velocity of the object is 7 km/h. The Escape Velocity is the speed an object needs to be travelling in order to break free from the objects gravity. The larger an object is, the more velocity (speed) is needed to break free from the object. The Semi-Major Axis of the orbit is 23280, which is the furthest point from the centre to the edge of an elliptical point.

The equatorial circumference of Erinome is 10.1 km. The surface area of Erinome is 32.17. The surface gravity of the said item is 0.001. The Mean orbit velocity, that is the speed at which it orbits is 8218.00 km/h. The is the average distance in km of the object is from its parent 23283000.00.

The orbital inclination, the angle at which Erinome orbits in relation to the orbital plane is 164.9 degrees. The orbital eccentricity is 0.2656, it is the degree at which Erinome orbits close to a circular (0) orbit as opposed to an elliptical (1) orbit.

## Carme Moon Group

Carme is the largest of the group of Jovian moons referred to as the Carme group. They have all been grouped together because it is believed they all shared the same common source. In addition to the supposed common source, all the members of the group are non-spherical and retrograde, that is they all orbit the planet Jupiter in the opposite direction that Jupiter rotates. As they are all retrograde in the group, they all end with the letter "e" as dictated by the International Astronomical Union, the international body that defines the names. Although some names have not yet been agreed upon. Kiddle
